Tourists are drawn to Iceland because of its stunning natural beauty. Iceland has known the world over for its famous geothermal heated pools, with the Blue Lagoon being one of its most pristine! The Czech Republic is known worldwide for its mouth-blown decorated glass and crystal artefacts, all individually made. Czech glassmakers also cultivated their own glassmaking techniques. Among the most significant were their unique contributions to the process of molding glass to create pressed glass beads, fire-polished finishes and mass production of their products. The original Budweiser Beer is made in the Czech Republic by the Budweiser Budvar Brewery, and home of Pilsner beer is the Czech city of Pilsen (Plzeň). The Curd cheese made there is called “Syrečky”.
